As owner of Dronetix Visual Services, let me assure you, that you won't find a single stock photograph on this site. Everything was shot by me: Camcorders, Drones, Drone Remotes, Uniforms, etc.- all real. Even the custom 3D Logo renders were created using realistic camera parameters. I learned to use an SLR Camera back in Elementary School. And for 50 years, I've been photographing the world around me, or replicating it in a computer for film and TV. Artistic Photography, along with Fine Art, have been life long passions. And now, I can fly my cameras in the sky!
I've assembled a collection of personal imagery that showcases examples of my own photography that isn't drone specific; from macro-photography, landscape, and even pictures of my beloved Malamute, Malik- using natural light in various environments and seasons.
As camera technology evolves, the classic SLR becomes less and less relevant. New technology, like palm sized GoPros that replaced once gigantic camcorders with huge magnetic tape cartridges, continue the trend of smaller, better and more affordable. DSLR Hybrids now do high quality video. No one needs to be in a wet lab, mixing developer by hand, to get great imagery anymore.
NW Ohio isn't known for much more than cornfields. But there is beauty here, even in a muddy field at sunset.
Malik and I enjoy walks along the Slippery Elm Trail, in a wide variety of conditions and environments.
Malik the Malamute with Malitude...
A fun video experiment using a GoPro mounted on an adjustable monopole to get some unusual shots of Malik, that helps show his world from a variety of perspectives. Most still photographs don't convey how a 165 lbs dog compares to its owner, or how goofy. Maybe this helps?
